Hi, we’re Helen and Katie!
We’re qualified teachers from the UK who love helping young learners grow. With many years of classroom and online teaching experience, we bring creativity, patience and positivity into every lesson. Our goal is simple: to help children believe in themselves, build strong skills and enjoy learning. We’re proud to support students worldwide on their journey to becoming confident, independent learners.
Helen:
I’m a Primary Teacher with 15 years of experience, offering engaging online lessons across all subjects for children up to age 11, including English and Maths. I create a safe, supportive and academically challenging learning environment where every child feels valued and motivated. My lessons are meaningful, fun and tailored to each learner’s needs. Building positive, encouraging relationships is at the heart of my teaching—helping children grow in confidence, enjoy learning, and reach their full potential.
Katie
With over 15 years of teaching experience, I specialise in supporting learners aged 11+ in English, History and Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) up to GCSE level. I also have extensive experience teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) and preparing students for Cambridge Assessment English exams, including IELTS. I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE, and a Cambridge CELTA.
Trained in Mental Health First Aid, I create a calm, nurturing and motivating environment where students feel supported and confident. My approach blends high expectations with personalised guidance, helping learners build strong skills, make real progress and feel ready to succeed academically.

What subjects do you offer?
We offer a wide range of subjects across the British Curriculum, including English, Maths, History, Art, French, Spanish and more, from Key Stage 1 through to A-Levels.
What age groups do you teach?
We provide tuition for students aged 6 to 18 years old, covering Key Stages 1–5 (including GCSEs and A-Levels).
Do you follow the UK National Curriculum?
Yes, all our lessons are aligned with the British National Curriculum, ensuring your child stays on track with their schoolwork or homeschooling plan.
How are lessons delivered?
Lessons are conducted online, using interactive tools and video conferencing to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
How long is each session?
Most lessons are 50 minutes, but we can offer shorter or longer sessions depending on the student’s needs.
Are lessons one-on-one or in groups?
We offer both individual tuition and small group sessions. The choice depends on both your child’s learning style and on what you are looking for.
Can I choose the lesson times?
Yes, we offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to fit around your family’s routine. You can reschedule lessons with at least 24 hours’ notice. We aim to be as accommodating as possible.
Are the teachers DBS checked?
Yes, we are fully DBS checked as we both work within schools and we have received extensive Safeguarding training.
